“This hotel is okay for a quick overnight transit stay, but I would never recommend someone stay here as part of their vacation.
Pros:
- Breakfast included in many of the rate options
- The rooms are big in size
- On-site restaurant
- Easy to get to from the airport
Cons:
The rooms are showing major wear and tear and look pretty filthy, to be honest. The walls are covered in dents and scuff marks, there is water and moisture damage everywhere, the entire room just gave me this 'unclean' feeling. The photos on the site definitely don't show it, but once you're there it's quite unnerving.
As someone who stays in hotels more than 50% of the year, this was one of the dirtiest rooms I've encountered in 2021.
Yes, the price is generally around that $100 mark or even less, but really there are many hotels in the same price range that are better kept, cleaner, and just generally less battered.”

“I had the pleasure of staying a few nights at the Four Points Sheraton in Cancun. The biggest standout by far was the staff. Everyone I encountered was hospitable, kind, greeted me by name, and made sure I had everything I needed. Georgina and Sara were particularly helpful in making sure I had everything from taxis to beach club access. So special thanks to them.
By the way, you do have access to the Marriott Cancun beach club while staying here which is quite nice. The hotel amenities, including The Eatery, are great. The rooftop pool is very nice. And you have stores, restaurants, and groceries within walking distance.
The only issue here is that the rooms themselves are a bit outdated. They are clean and have all that you could need. But when they are updated, this hotel will check all boxes. I highly recommend staying here while in Cancun.”
