Vista maravilhosa, piscina também. Quarto cheirava mal à chegada (fritura), resolvido com máquina de ozônio. Acolodações confortáveis, embora pequeno. Poucas alternativas gastronômicas no hotel. As tentativas na piscina foram ruins. A todo momento te oferecem algo pra comprar a um preço mais alto que o mercado local (massagens, pacotes turísticos e reunião pra vender time sharing).

Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, están equipadas con todo lo necesario, en especial si traes niños como yo. Tiene muy buena ubicación y de la mejores playas. Además si no quieres salir de tu hotel este es el lugar, tiene mini tienda y varias amenidades. Muy buen lugar familiar y para descansar.

Our condo had the most breath-taking view of the ocean as well as gorgeous pool that butts up to the ocean. The condo was beautifully decorated, clean, updated appliances with kitchen cabinets filled with all the necessary cookware. Bathroom was equipped with all the necessary hygiene essentials. The location is so conveniently located close to mall shopping and restaurants. Special activities were available such as water aerobics, salsa dance classes, and my favorite... Mayan dishes in buffet style while watching a presentation of dancers portraying the Mayan history & culture. The swim-up bar & restaurant was my husband's favorite.

El hotel muy lindo. Las habitaciones bien equipadas. Piscina amplia y jacuzzi disponible 24/7. El spa espectacular, un servicio excelente.Lo único por mejorar el aseo de la habitación lo hacen cada 3 días, solicitamos el aseo un día antes y no tuvieron en cuenta nuestra solicitud. De resto todo espectacular.

Este hotel me encantaba. Sin embargo desde que la cadena Marriot compró spg el trato a los socios cambió radicalmente. Hicieron cambios en el hotel, remodelaron las villas y quedaron bien. Sin embargo, su cocina ya no es la misma, antes estaba mejor y el servicio en su mayoría fue lentísimo. Otra cosa que no me gustó es que el agua de la alberca estaba muy caliente y el agua de la villa no tenía agua fría, imposible refrescarse, además de que solicité hielos y me cobraron $56 cuando antes había máquina de hielos y eran totalmente gratis.

El hotelesta muy bien, grande y con excelentes instalaciones, las albercas super padres,lastimaque el servicio a nacionales es diferentea los extranjeros sobre todo en recepcion y las de concerge.No regreso.

Pésima experiencia en tan bonito hotel. Esperaba mejor atención por ser operado por Marriott y ser miembro de Bonvoy. Tienen un check out a las 10am y no hubo manera de que me dieran late checkout mas allá de las 12. Al revisar la cuenta había unos cargos que yo no había hecho, la señorita muy amable pidió asistencia de su supervisora en turno, miércoles 17 de agosto 12:38hrs Cancun. La supervisora, Alexa, vino con pésima actitud y cambio mi tarifa de cuarto para incluir los cargos que yo no reconocía. Al final no me quedo mas que pagar lo que ellos quisieron porque la supervisora así acomodo la cuenta. Pésima actitud y pésima atención al cliente. Que lastima que por una persona no considere volver a hospedarme en este hotel.

Carisimo se hizo una reservación, de una cantidad, cuando llegamos 10000.00 más de impuestos.. la limpieza la hacen cada tercer día, no te dan agua . En todos los hoteles que he ido, te ponen tu botellita aunque sea chiquita aquí la compras .Está bonito . Pero caro

We just got back from a vacation to this resort and might I say it exceeded our expectations. The service, 5/5 was the best service we have received anywhere and we travel often. They are just dying to help you, every single employee, and make your stay the best stay possible. The spa was lovely, my husband had an amazing massage experience… however, the pedicuring was very slow (2 hours for a pedicure) and seemed uncertain of what she was doing. It turned out fine, but I wasn’t expecting that. The food, at all locations, was super yummy. The resort is super close to fantastic shopping and tons of other yummy restaurants, gelato and even a Starbucks. Our only complaint, the ac in our room didn’t “refrigerate” the air or fully cool it down. Therefore everything in our room was constantly damp… our passports even curled up. I think it’s a solo situation, they are doing some renovations so maybe we just got an unlucky one, but other than that… the room was spacious, the view was gorgeous and we loved our stay. The beach is absolutely one of the loveliest and the sand is just so soft. The pools are massive, the hot tubs are plenty and honestly, I would highly recommend Westin Lagunamar! We plan to visit again very soon.

The Westin Lagunamar is a fantastic beachfront resort with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Local buses appear to run every few minutes and can take you to nearby points of interest. If you’ve got a 5-7 day stay there’s no need to rent a car, unless perhaps you were doing an excursion, but I’m sure that the hotel could arrange transport. The staff is super nice and refers to everyone in your party as “family.” I’m sure employees are well trained, but their kindness comes across as genuine. Well done, Westin! This resort isn’t all-inclusive, but the prices for food and beverages are reasonable.

Está hermoso el hotel, pero muy grande para recorrerlo a pie cuando una rodilla no está funcionando bien. El servicio es lento, tardado, tanto en habitaciones como en los restaurantes. Y eso que no estaba a toda su capacidad ¡imagínate si hubiera estado lleno! Las habitaciones están muy bonitas y bien equipadas. Lo único es que al jacuzzi sólo le funcionaron tres o cuatro surtidores de agua (o como se llame lo que echa el chorro de agua). Así que sólo sirvió como baño de tina.

To say that we had a wonderful time at this location would be an understatement. Upon arrival it was our appointed concierge was Karla, who took wonderful care of us and salt are every needs being only a phone call or email away. The place was extremely clean everybody was extremely friendly. The view from where we was was a spectacular and turns out that a mile in each direction the resort has the largest cleanest part of the beach on the ocean. Lenin, was our primary bellhop and was very informative and gave us suggestions of where to go off the beaten path as well as how to hit the taxi system or the bus system. All the bartenders were extremely helpful and funny Javier was the one that we had the most interaction with and he was fantastic as well. . The food at the sports bar was meh the food at the other location restaurant was much better that would be the only complaints that we had at all at the same time it is a apartment setup so bring your own food or do your shopping and you'll be great. That said looking forward to going back next year extremely highly recommend it.

We were shocked at the level of awesome hospitality from every single department. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and taken care of. Our room was phenomenal with breathtaking views. Service from the bellmen, restaurants, fabulous entertainment/shows, bartenders and pool staff were some of the best we have had. We felt safe, comfortable and appreciative of the Covid protocols. We will 100% return to this paradise! Thank you for helping to make our vacation so amazing.

El hotel Westin Lagunamar es un hotel muy cómodo para hospedarse en estancias largas. Ya es la segunda vez que me hospedo ahí, por la practicidad del mismo y será uno de mis hoteles frecuentes cuando vuelva a Cancún.Es un hotel muy grande, con muchos jardines, una alberca enorme con vista infinita y las habitaciones equipadas con cocineta, tina y centro de lavado. En nuestra estancia vimos cómo había mucha gente de mantenimiento haciendo arreglos constantes, que se notaba al estar todo en buenas condiciones.La atención era muy buena, siempre había gente dispuesta para ayudarte en las diferentes zonas del hotel.Donde pudiera mejorar en el futuro, es que cuente con un restaurante más elegante, con más variedad en el menú y con un horario más extendido para las cenas.Agradezco a todo el staff del hotel, hayan influido en tener mi familia y yo unas vacaciones muy placenteras.

The resort is very nice. Beautiful grounds and pools. Lots of lounges for sunbathing, and lots of umbrellas, also. Swim up bars were nice. Food was good at the restaurants. Spa treatments, such as massages, were enjoyable. The rooms are being renovated, and we were in a building that was not yet done. Some of the locks didn't work, but overall the villas were clean, comfortable,and well-appointed. The conscierge staff was very nice and courteous, but seemed to give us conflicting information at times in answer to our questions. Perhaps a little more info provided to them in training would be good. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience at this resort. Glad we stayed there.

We visited this hotel for a well needed vacation. The Westin Lagunamar resort & property was beautiful and the ocean views awesome and lovely white beach sands refreshing.The Westin front desk did not welcome any of us,we are Marriott members and have been for years.My first impression was not a good one, is this Marriott!The concierge team was a bit more warm & friendly.I concluded that the main focus of the resort during the entire visit was about how many pesos the could empty from our pockets, food & drinks overpriced and bad quality. I tried to order food at the beach/pool bar and I was told to go find your waiter!wow, we left the resort and went off-site for food & drinks.Despite the beautiful location, I regret to say that I DO NOT RECOMMEND the Westin Lagunamar to anyone.You wont experience typical Marriott customer service at this location. If you are seeking a pleasant vacation experience, this is not the resort-hotel.The Westin Lagunamar Management nor Staff enforce Mexico's Covid-19 protocols. Although the staff wears masks, many guests did not wearthem and Management nor Staff said anything.This resort is money hungry and has poor food & drinks.

Most beautiful hotel with incredible beach. I had read before we came that it was the best beach in the area. Very true. Soft white sand!!! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Lovely professional staff. Best spa!! Units have kitchens, so we shopped at the nearby Costco. Only negative was the pressure to have a talk about a timeshare.

Infelizmente nossa estadia de 15dias foi um desastre, limpeza do quarto 2 vezes somente, se fazem de desentendidos, fecham o guarda sol as 14horas , funcionários arrogantes , Passeio a Tulun nada confere , aquipamentos precários e cardápio vendido é um prato feito, restaurante ventos do hotel, alguns hóspedes servem a bebida em copo plástico , em outros copo de vidros, ou seja você paga e, eles quem ti comandam com muita arrogância e desculpas fajutas! Não recomendo ! Agradeço a funcionário Henry da praia e Eduardoda recepção que por alguns dias tentaram fazer algo, pois ao reservar o hotel não constam cláusulas informando

Quando fomos para Cancun em Lua de Mel, decidimos por ficar no Westin Lagunamar por vários motivos, além de ser um hotel maravilhoso, ele não é all inclusive, o que para a gente era essencial. Não gostamos de ficar o dia todo na piscina/praia, então preferíamos sair para almoçar todos os dias. E a localização foi outro motivo: ele fica em frente ao shopping La Isla, com muitas opções maravilhosas de restaurantes! Vale à pena!

Hotel simplesmente incrível. Quartos, piscinas, mar, localização (perto de um shopping com muitas opções de comida e de compras), organização, comida, simpatia dos funcionários... tudo maravilhoso. Fiquei hospedada em uma época de muitas algas na praia e o hotel tem até um tratorzinho que tira as algas da areia. Super recomendo, ficaria de novo. A única coisa ruim q consegui achar foi que uma das camas do quarto, na verdade é um sofá cama não muito confortável, mas não foi um grande problema para mim.

By far one of our top 3 favorite places to Vacation. Always very friendly, exceptionally clean hotel, great location, and amazing pools!! Married my best friend 4 years ago on their beach. We visit 1 or 2 times a year and will continue for many years to come.

Las habitaciones sin servicio de limpieza,tampoco te ponen utensilios para poder hacerte la limpieza,esto no tiene contradicción con las normas de COVID, si pides servicio de comida a la habitación si te traen, y no se contaminan, muy extraña estas normas, con salirnos de la habitación sería suficiente,en fin.....

This place is right at the beach and employees are gentle and helpful with any question, I recommend this resort.

The stay has been amazing! Marko pretty much has helped us out by the pool everyday we was out and he’s been the most amazing and helpful!! We booked a double adventure to Tulum and Xel-Ha park, I wouldn’t really suggest that though. It’s a two hour ride just to Xel-Ha then you have to switch buses, then a 20 minute ride to Tulum. Your there till 12:00 ish then back to Xel-Ha and they close at 6:00 so you don’t really have a lot of time to explore or even eat if you are wanting to do anything extra, like dolphins or the manatees. We seriously had to run all around park in a hurry to get anything done. Altogether it was a 1500$ day. That’s the 449$ for three people for the double adventure, another 478$ for three to do the basic package of swimming with dolphins and the manatees, which the 478$ includes all the pictures you can take around the park but not the ones of swimming with the dolphins so that was another 288$. It’s a costly trip in the end which will be a lasting experience but the stress of having to run around to do hardly any of what we wanted was a down side..

I’ve been coming to this location since it was a Sheraton, maybe 20 years ago, and an owner since the Westinwas built. I usually come to this resort in March and October. This has been, by far the worst vacation I’ve ever had at a Starwoods (former) property. Other owners I’ve talked to during my stay the past 2 weeks have confirmed my own perceptions, that the resort has slipped substantially since the takeover by Marriott Bonvoy and is no longer one I would recommend and will not return to. This is very unfortunate due to the great friends I’ve made there that remember my name every time I come back. Due to Covid, I didn't expect it to be business as usual here and I understand the impact Covid has had on the resort leading to turnover in staff and changes in amenity availability due to social distancing requirements, but I expected it to be the same helpful, friendly environment Westin had always provided here for me and my family. In some respects it is, but in most cases it is not. Hurricane Delta certainly didn't help, but in an emergency situation the resort did the best they could and kept us safe. They get 5 stars for that, but everything else is a zero to one star. Specifically what I’ve found here is a severe lack in communication (especially emergency communication) inadequate customer service and a heavy-handed approach in customer relations. For example, they sent a manager and a security guard to escort me from the pool when they said it was closed but I saw no evidence of signage. There wasn't one on the path from the rooms to the pool, none on the ladder I used to climb down into the water and certainly not one on the pool bar counter where I sat down. I was supposed to divine that the pool was closed, because in their words, “I’m the only one in it” This is only one example of many of poor communication and a heavy-handed approach to customers. Certainly not the resort I remember. I can tell you there there are shining stars there by the name of William, Felipe, Joaquin and Jorge at the pool bar and Christian in sales. To make up for my poor experience here, Christian from sales told me he would bring some great mexican coffee to me this morning when he came to work that I could take home. He had a flat tire and had to cancel his work day, but he came to the resort after it was fixed, knocked on my door and handed me the coffee. I was overwhelmed by his gesture which makes it hard to write this review, the first one I’ve ever written. I’m happy to talk to others and share my other specific experiences.

Mi estancia estuvo excelente. Solo un detalle que reporte un incidente en recepción sobre una botella quebrada fuera de el elevador en el piso 6 estábamos en la habitación 268. Y tardaron muchísimo en ir a recoger los vidrios y pues llevábamos una niña. De ahí en fuera todo bien. Todo el protocolo que está implementado para esta pandemia todo más que excelente. Buen día. Ah nos hospedarnos del 10 al 14 del presente mes.

25 y/o Female solo traveler here! This hotel was gorgeous and made my stay here amazing!! It sits right in front of La Isla mall and is also a great point for local transportation. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel for my adventurous folks - take the bus it’s much cheaper. Only take the taxi for your dinners in the area. The service here is lovely. Everyone is so nice from the lobby entrance to the reservation desk to the concierge. Very friendly,always say hello, always willing to stop and take your picture for you lol the view of my hotel room (568) was to die for. Very standard but is darling. Big room with a wide balcony, A seating area with a couch, you have a kitchenette, jacuzzi tub AND rainfall shower which is amazing. You also have a washer and dryer - they charge 30 pesos to use but so what! I loved my view of the pool and the ocean. Pool service is great everyone is very helpful the pool itself is beautiful. It’s not really deep but it’s the perfect height to lounge around in - come early! There are also old Mayan ruins on the side of the hotel which is super interesting to visit. However, It is NOT all inclusive so beware. The food at the restaurant is just okay. But you have so many amazing restaurants to explore that are close so def give it a try. I recommend taboo, rose negra and captains cove - pricey but worth it. For more authentic local food ask your taxi driver. An all around a beautiful hotel!!

Staff and location are truly gems, the weather , the pool and the ocean without seaweed... every minute spend there is like being in heaven. The only regret is the fact we cannot bought timeshare since we have other projects now but if you can : buy timeshare there

Está muy bien ubicado y el servicio en general es muy bueno. Las áreas de esparcimiento son muy amplias y su zona de playa está muy bien atendida. La vista al océano es grandiosa y todas las instalaciones son muy funcionales.

El lugar tiene una magnífica ubicación, la playa es lo mejor de este lugar. Las habitaciones bien equipadas. Nuestra estancia fue después de su reapertura por Covid y la verdad deja mucho para decir.ñ sus protocolos de "higiene". El proceso de Check in now llevo más de 1 hora y durante los 8 días que estuvimos ahí su elevador nunca fue limpiado, la misma basura de chocolate estuvo ahí todos los días. Los contenedores de basura en los pasillos llenos. 1 solo restaurante funcionando para todos los huéspedes. El servicio de los meseros increíble en todo momento muy amables.

The rooms are fully equipped for long stay as they have well stocked kitchen & full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher as well as washer & dryer. Most of the rooms face the ocean with unobstructed view. They also have scheduled activities for guests throughout the day. A stretch of private beach is reserved for guests and you can get drink services right there.

Found the place to be clean and in a great location. This was my first stay at this Westin using a timeshare exchange we own. Was very happy with the room. The pool wasn’t done however the pool that was open was plenty big for my two boys who enjoyed the water slide. We really enjoyed the pizza which is made in the wood burning oven and the on site market. So here is the kicker and the big reason I want to rave about this place. We got to the airport and realized I had left my 2k gaming laptop on the room. How this happened? Well let’s just say traveling with a 3 year old and grumpy 9 year old isn’t easy. I immediately called the front desk and they stashed it away for me. They sent it to my home in LA, I just had to pay boxing and shipping, and I was extremely grateful. Will visit again soon I hope.

Lugar muito agradável, bonito, limpo. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos. A localização é excelente. As piscinas são muito boas. Prá melhorar, poderiam ser um pouco aquecidas no inverno. A água gelada não é muito convidativa.

Un lugar hermoso, excelentemente bien atendido. El personal es amable, cercano muy servicial. Las instalaciones son de primer nivel. Es un agrado estar en el bar con su maravillosa piscina infinita. Se destaca que los espacios para niños y adultos, si bien están cercanos, son completamente independientes. Nosotros que viajamos sin niños nos sentimos bastante cómodos. Un gran lugar para pasar vacaciones en pareja, solo o en familia. Siempre hay cosas que hacer, ya sea en el hotel, en la playa o en el centro comercial. Destaco el acceso a las ruinas, que permiten también vivir la experiencia Maya en Cancún.

Amazing resort. If you want to spoil yourself then this is definitely the place you need to be when you visit Cancun. The staff is very friendly and they ensure that you have a good experience when you're staying at the resort. The rooms are equipped with all the kitchen appliances and that helps when you bring back some of the street food. This resort is situated right in the heart of Zona Hotelera. Theres a mall right in front of the resort and there's a bus stop in front of the resort that will take you to downtown Cancun. Had a very good experience and would love to visit Cancun again.
