“We spent 3 lovely nights here in a canal view suite. It was a very homey place. Everything was comfortable and the staff are all very friendly. The restaurants and bars are great. The rooms are delightful. The location simply can't be beat.
The only minor issue I noticed is that there are about 1-2 tables too few in both the breakfast and the tea room. Breakfast could sometimes be crowded and if you eat at the restaurant around tea time you get a table so tiny you can barely fit your meal on it.

“This is the best hotel in Amsterdam - and quite possibly one of the best owned by Hilton. The building offers an extremely tranquil feel, which is a marked difference from the buzzing Amsterdam. The second you walk in, you are greeted by very welcoming and warm staff.I didn’t stay at the hotel (I actually didn’t know there was a Waldorf Astoria in Amsterdam 😂), I used the spa and peacock alley. The very kind front desk staff showed me around and I was particularly impressed by the bar which is remodeled from the old bank’s vault downstairs. The building has prestigious history which makes the experience so much more special.Every person I met was simply wonderful- professional and great with what they do. A special thank you for Andrea from the Vault bar for looking after me. She makes amazing cocktails!I know where I’ll be staying next time I am in Amsterdam!
